The hotel looks okay from...

Liked: The location is very nice.
Disliked: The lobby is very modern and good looking, but the rooms are slightly outdated - no plugs near the bed or no USB charging facilities at this day and age is a bit old fashioned. Also the services are run a bit wibbly-wobbly - we booked our stay for four people in the family room but there were towels in the bathroom for only two people; we requested a baby bed in advance but that was not in the room; restaurant staff forgot several times to bring our ordered items. So altogether the hotel looks okay from the outside but is not run really professionally.

A convenient and comfortable stopover...

Liked: The hotel is well positioned to get to from the motorway and then is central enough that you can walk into the historic part of the city. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The hotel felt a little tired and dated. It was obviously built several decades ago and the building seemed old. When you looked closely there was peeling paint and patched up grouting in the bathrooms, for example. In fact there was a crane and scaffolding at the back of the hotel that looked like it was actually bracing the building! The restaurant was expensive for the very average meal and the drinks were expensive too. I'd recommend walking into town and eating out there.

Disliked: Expensive and room quite old. Does not feel like a 4 * hotel. Not very far from center but the way is on extremely narrow streets that really feel unsafe or on the main street that is full of comstruction works
