Mercure Oostende is located only 820 feet from the sandy beach and from the Casino Kursaal. The hotel is located close to the main shopping area of Ostend. Private parking is available near the hotel for a surcharge. Each of the modern rooms at Mercure Oostende has a flat-screen TV a work desk and tea and coffee making facilities. Liked: Nothing at all
Disliked: I booked a Superior room, but upon arrival, I've got a Classic room instead( based on booking.com photos) and According to the front desk staff — who was far from friendly — the only difference is a mini bar with 3 bottles of soft drinks and cityview. In other words, you pay almost $30/night more for essentially nothing. I did not enjoy staying at this place at all , mainly because of the poor and inflexible reception service. Also They refused money refund and force me to accept their choice.

Liked: Perfect stay in Ostende. Location perfect. Family room was very nice with very comfy beed. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Definitely would stay again.

Lovely New Years Eve in...

Liked: Location is very good. Everything is within walking distance. Friendly personal and clean room. Breakfast was very good. Very extensive.
Disliked: Pity that the bar was already closed when we came back to the hotel after the new years eve festivities in town. Overall price of the hotel was too high, but we booked pretty late for New Years Eve.
