Bit of a disaster.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The walls are paper thin and unfortunately I was kept awake until 2am by very noisy people in the next room. When I dragged my weary body into the shower the next morning, there was no hot water! Zero. I went to reception and asked for a change of room. They obliged, so I moved my gear to the new room, which was in better condition and quieter. The first room had been very “tired” (broken phone handset, damaged finishes etc). Later that day I realised that when I moved rooms I had left behind some clothes in the closet. I went to reception to get them back but was told housekeeping would have taken them out and locked them away, so I could not have them until the next day when housekeeping returned. What??!! So I can’t get the shirt and jacket I was going to wear out tonight? Nope! WTF? The next morning when I was checking out, the reception retrieved my clothes from the office behind her counter.

Disliked: Improvement in the room cleaning, and staff not friendly.I asked for tissues as it had not been replaced, this was not done and needed remindingI asked for hand soap liquid at the basin to be filled as it was empty, I had to remind them twiceI asked for body soap liquid at the shower to be filled as it was empty, I had to remind them twiceI was leaving for a walk on the Saturday morning and saw her in the room nearby so mentioned to her that I would be out for 2-3 hrs if she wanted to clean my room whilst out.When I got back 3 hrs later the cleaner was still in our passage. # minutes after arriving back she knocks on my door to ask whether I wanted my room cleaned.I reminded her that I had offered for to clean it whilst I was out, she said, "oh yes of course"The bin liner was removed and not replaced.

Liked: If I had to pick one thing that I liked I wld be here for ages From the time my husband and I walked into the Mecure we were treated like long lost family, from the room service to breakfast buffet was such a delight, the beds were that comfortable that when I slept I felt like I hadn't slept for years, the room was so quiet their was no outside noise cldnt hear other guests or the traffic from below, the shower pressure was so good and very hot very quick, when first walked into our room it was so warm witch was a delight and tv was already set up so you didn't have to search password for WiFi, carpark was under cover so to get to your car you don't have to go out into the weather and last but not least the staff were so professional and the respect we got it felt like my husband and I were VIP
