Celebration
Liked: We picked the Mercure because of its proximity to The Royal Womens Hospital where our daughter gave birth to twins. The Mercure is a bit tired but the rooms are very large. The hidden gem of this hotel is the downstairs restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was really good. Breakfast was limited but very fresh. The staff made great coffees too.

Comfortable enough
Liked: It was cheap and close to the hospital I needed to go to.
Disliked: The bottom of the shower was cracked and peeling and dirty around the outside. The roof of the room had very obviously leaked at some stage and hadn't been repaired. On the second night there were industrial fans running in the hallway, which was very loud and not conducive to sleep. We are guessing there must have been some flooding somewhere. All in all it was comfortable enough, cheap and convenient.

Pleasant
Liked: The room I stayed in seemed a bit dated could do with a deep clean as the grout in bathroom was almost black
