Located just 6.8 miles from Newcastle city center this hotel features excellent facilities including a restaurant brasserie lounge bar and an 18-hole championship golf course. There's also a swimming pool a hot tub and a steam room. The hotel makes a good base for all and is great for a weekend away in a place that has something for everyone. Shopaholics will enjoy the famous Metro Centre shopping mall and Northumbria boasts beautiful coastlines and historic sights. The refurbished bedrooms feature tea/coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is also available and ironing facilities are provided. There are themed evenings on selected Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. A number of meeting rooms are available to accommodate anything from 2 to 180 attendees. The Washington Suite with its own bar can seat up to 180 people (theater-style) and is ideal for audiovisual presentations. Liked: We have a great stay at this hotel my nephew got married here it was amazing.
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: Staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: Towels for the health club are left in the room, which is fine until you use them as they are only replaced when the room is serviced which means you can end up without a towel. They do not have any at the health club for guests
