Located just 6.8 miles from Newcastle city center this hotel features excellent facilities including a restaurant brasserie lounge bar and an 18-hole championship golf course. There's also a swimming pool a hot tub and a steam room. The hotel makes a good base for all and is great for a weekend away in a place that has something for everyone. Good business stay

Liked: The staff are great and accommodating. The food at the restaurant is very good. The gym is small but has plenty of equipment and free weights.
Disliked: The pool is tiny, and very warm so not the place for any serious swimming. it would be good to have cold showers for after a steam/sauna too,

Liked: Staff were friendly
Disliked: A couple of plates in rooms would have been helpful. There was a small blood spatter on the lampshade and wall. No spare binbags in room. Steam room out of order, sauna handle came off as wood was rotten. Paid for a king bed but it was just two singles pushed together - I wouldn't expect this standard from a 4 star hotel.

Superb

Liked: Breakfast was very good , great selection and the staff were very quick at removing used dishware from tables and topping up all the various foodstuffs .
Disliked: I just thought the room TV was a bit dated.
