Liked: The hotel reception was very nice.
Disliked: Despite having booked and paid for our room back in June ready for an overnight stay on 14th September whilst at a conference, we were told at check in that we had been moved to the Novotel.The poor receptionist who had to do someone elses dirty work, was extremely embarassed.It was not only my booking, but my colleagues booking too.It seems this is a regular occurence, so beware.

Disliked: Bathroom in our room was not very clean, the male bathrobe had mould/mildew on the arm, and a hair was found in our sons breakfast,

Excellent hotel and staff.
Liked: Staff were brilliant, had issue with room which could not be fixed but we were moved to another room with no hassle. The receptionist Natalie was particularly helpful, bright and cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. Both rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant were good and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: I cannot think of anything.

Disliked: The extra bed is by far the worst thing I've slept on, and i've slept on a deflated air bed.

Great staff, awful hotel policy
Liked: Your staff are the saving Grace of this hotel ! I met four of them - all were very friendly, down to earth, and wished me a good day! Reception staff and cleaning staff. You are really lucky to have good staff and I hope you appreciate them. Particularly considering your policy of overbooking. I called to let you know I would be late checking in as my work event overran. I was told it was a busy night and (despite booking around 4 months previous) I potentially no longer had a room and may have to go to Novotel instead. This was an extra half hour walk, making my morning walk back to the venue 1hr 15mins instead of the 45 mins. This was the sole reason I booked your hotel - so that I could walk back in the morning! Luckily your staff managed to work it so I could stay, however in a twin room rather than the double I had booked. This is wild to me- that I may have been moved despite my early booking and keeping you informed of check in times. This policy makes your company come across as money grabbing. You seem to be confused with your purpose - providing a reliable comfortable nights stay - not causing someone panic after a long day prior to another long day that their well laid plans have been scuppered! I would not stay in your hotel chain again purely because of this policy and would strongly recommend others against it. I doubt you will keep your decent staff for long with these sorts of policies. May you see the light soon to protect the longevity of your hotel chain!

Liked: Good location for the event I was attending. Staff were nice. Good hot shower with good power. Smart TV in the room.Quiet room.
Disliked: Musty smelling room which seemed to have been covered with air freshener. No hot vegan breakfast which is very disappointing. No vegan wines in the bar.
