Nice hotel RUINED by dreadful...

Liked: The food and the staff were excellent. Facilities good.
Disliked: The beds were the worse I have experienced in years and should be replaced immediately. Awful! Almost impossible to walk in the morning after a so called SLEEP!

Liked: Location of the hotel.
Disliked: The breakfast was out right shocking, majority of things sat there for a long period of time. Only a small amount of continental items available. On the evening I went to the bar for a drink with a wait of 10 minutes to find a bar tender was not available & reception staff were not present. The restaurant has lost it's value in my opinion also, hot stone steaks used to be served along with a vast variety of selection on the menu, menu as of now is a overpriced pub grub selection. We have styed here before and was impressed that's why we rebooked again but on this past experience we wont be returning to this hotel especially for the price of the hotel on the weekend of MotoGP (£1000+).

Liked: The staff, especially restaurant and breakfast were absolutely lovely, couldn't do enough to help or be just nice and welcoming .. I'm sorry I didn't get names but the black lady a little older, about my age and the 2 white men on breakfast, plus the Asian younger girl on breakfast.. I'm sorry to say them by their race, but no name badges as I saw x air con left on in room ready for our arrival on a hot day was a nice touch x
Disliked: Reception a little surly and unintersted on arrival, fridge in room didn't work and neither did the TV remote .. not particularly important but would have been nice, only decaff coffee for the machine left and no milk .. bathroom not particularly clean with the design of it, not the cleaners fault .. is a fixed screen and deep bath so makes it difficult to get in and out of it, also 2 twins zipped together when i did email to ask if a twin became available coulf they switch us ..wouldn't recommend booking a prestige room over a standard
