Liked: Location, room, completely dark roomAfter a wild time travelling. Staff where fun and nice.
Disliked: Maybe if I had to nitpick, TV could have done with an upgrade. 😅

Convenient and Friendly Staff but...

Liked: Convenient location, great staff, have stayed many times in past.
Disliked: Room seems more run down than previous visits. Bathroom silicone mouldy, some items around room need maintenance e.g. no door chain lock, towel rack was half not secured to wall correctly.

Good location to Queen Vic...

Liked: Good location & reception staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: The room was not cleaned daily - floor was not vacuumed until I requested for it and it was done only once the next day. Bathroom was not cleaned for the 11 days we were there. Only bath towels were changed daily though!

Disliked: I was disappointed with the limited entrainment options and unable to use my own Apple box to plug in due to the HDMI channels locked out.

Definitely isn’t up to Mercure...

Liked: Cheap. Good location.
Disliked: Unfortunately it was cheap for reason. I trusted the name of the brand and shouldn’t have. Felt like a dodgy hostel. The ibis just next to it looked like a 5 star hotel in comparison. Mercure has unfortunately ruined its reputation with this one as I now realise the same standards are not kept at all of their locations.
