Why Concert-goers love it

With its easy access to the M20 and proximity to Maidstone music venues, this hotel is a great pick for fans driving in for a show. After the encore, retreat to the quiet countryside setting for a relaxing night’s sleep. The hotel’s 11am checkout lets you enjoy a slow morning after a late night, and there’s plenty of space to unwind or recharge—indoors at the health club or outdoors on the expansive grounds.

What People Say

Danella W, Rayleigh, visiting Mote Park Maidstone

We were put in a room that backed onto the car park, it was very noisy. Also there was no kettle in the rooms so we were unable to make a cup of tea. We have stayed in hotels that cost less and are better maintained and you are better looked after. I would not recommend this hotel and it was out near busy motorways and a £17 cab ride to get to Mote Park.

Liked: Clean apart from the dead flies on the window sill. Lots of parking space.
Disliked: Not good value for money.

Disliked: no air con, unable to open window in room on a very hot day. Decor a bit tired.

Ok for one night but...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
Disliked: No air conditioning in bedrooms. Hotel need complete renovation, rooms are very tired although beds were comfy. In communal area the carports were very stained. Nice grounds but no longer cared for.

Very good

Liked: Easy location to find. Plenty of parking. Spacious rooms. Comfortable big bed. Clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast, plenty of choice.
Disliked: The curtains in the room had seen better days, edges were frayed and ripped, a little dated.

Superb

Liked: Room was spacious and suitably cleaned. Friendly and attentive staff. Pool facilities. Promotional Offer in restaurant for guests.
Disliked: Lack of working 'widget' in lager glasses. Lifeless beer isn't appreciated at £6+ a pint. Suggest new glassware, or a review of glass washing practices.

Good staff great breakfast

Liked: The staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good with a good choice. The grounds are very beautiful and there’s ample parking. And something very different,if you sign in to the WI-FI you get a free drink of your choice.
Disliked: We was there for a wedding, and the bar was very poorly stocked,we asked why and was told that the delivery hadn’t turned up that morning,to which we replied then why haven’t you gone out and bought stock from somewhere else, knowing you had a wedding to cater for,the reply we received was a shrug of the shoulders. Not very professional. The hotel looks very tired and could definitely do with a refit ASAP.

Location, price and food were...

Liked: Price was very good. Grounds were lovely - amazing number of rabbits! Staff were really nice. Location was just what we needed. Food we chose was really nice and very good value too.
Disliked: Carpets need a good clean. Walls are very thin. Bath tap wouldn’t supply hot enough water for a bath. Glasses in restaurant had lipstick marks on both glasses and bar one had OJ left on it! Replace dishwasher?
