Built around a Georgian country house and set in 26 acres of private grounds, this hotel combines rural elegance with practical amenities like free parking and free high-speed WiFi. Located near Leeds Castle and just off Junction 8 of the M20, it’s a strategic base for concert-goers traveling across the South East.

Whether you're heading to a festival or a one-night gig, you'll enjoy a restful stay and easy access to Maidstone and beyond.

Why Concert-goers love it

With its easy access to the M20 and proximity to Maidstone music venues, this hotel is a great pick for fans driving in for a show. After the encore, retreat to the quiet countryside setting for a relaxing night’s sleep. The hotel’s 11am checkout lets you enjoy a slow morning after a late night, and there’s plenty of space to unwind or recharge—indoors at the health club or outdoors on the expansive grounds.

If you're in the mood to explore, local pubs and eateries are easy to reach by car or taxi.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn't host live music, its relaxed bar is a cozy place to continue the night with a local drink. Nearby Maidstone offers pubs, lounges, and late-night spots to keep the good vibes going after the show.

What People Say

Guests love the beautiful grounds and the mix of historic charm with modern amenities. Many reviews highlight the easy parking, quiet rooms, and helpful staff. The pool and sauna get special mention as a great way to unwind after a late night.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the decor could use a refresh and that the hotel can feel a bit dated in places. It’s also worth noting that you’ll likely need a car or taxi to reach concert venues and nearby nightlife.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Danella W, Rayleigh, visiting Mote Park Maidstone

We were put in a room that backed onto the car park, it was very noisy. Also there was no kettle in the rooms so we were unable to make a cup of tea. We have stayed in hotels that cost less and are better maintained and you are better looked after. I would not recommend this hotel and it was out near busy motorways and a £17 cab ride to get to Mote Park.

Liked: Clean apart from the dead flies on the window sill. Lots of parking space.
Disliked: Not good value for money.

Pleasant

Liked: Friendly, lovely staff that’s are super helpful.
Disliked: The hotel itself is quite old and needs updating. At night, we could hear guests in other rooms next to us and also above and below us. There are gaps in the doors so sounds really travel and so we did struggle to have a good nights rest. Also, there’s no AC in the room, just a fan you can plug in. There was a thermometer in the hallways and the resting temperature showed as 26 degrees and this was at 11.30pm. Would not recommend during summer time because of this, it was not even a particularly warm day (21 degrees).

Very beautiful, relaxing stay

Liked: I loved the hotel and its wellness area. Plenty of safe parking, a really nice wellness area (it was fine but could have been a bit cleaner especially in the changing area), the breakfast was incredible, dinner was great, bed super comfy and the staff was really lovely. We would certainly stay again. Thanks so much for a very lovely stay :)
Disliked: A very minor thing and maybe it was just that day, but I thought the floor in the changing area could have been kept a bit cleaner, but it's not a huge complaint, it's a really lovely wellness area

Superb

Liked: Great location for breaking the journey home after coming back through the Eurotunnel. Friendly staff, good value. The family enjoyed the pool after a long day travelling.
Disliked: The rooms are clean and tidy but a little tired.
