We found the Mercury Hotel...

Liked: Good location to Lyon Part Dieu station. Security within the hotel was good. Staff were very attentive.
Disliked: The menu was limited and didn't change during our stay. Also, fresh fruit salad option for breakfast was disappointing as not fresh fruit. Walking distance to centre of Lyon was much further than I expected.

Liked: Good hotel location, The room itself was spaceous.
Disliked: The room was extremely hot because the AC was not yet in operation. This made sleeping at night impossible. The window could not be kept open at night due to the noise from the railway.

Liked: Very spacious, with an excellent location and friendly staff. Allowed us to do a late check-out
Disliked: Pillows are uncomfortable

Disliked: Room too warm, air conditioning not effective. Lift noise throughout the night.
