Poor,waste of money and dirty...

Liked: The location was great but that’s all
Disliked: The staff couldn’t be bothered and I’ve now been waiting 3 days for the general manager or ops manager to call me back and still waitingChecking day 15/4/24 checkout 16/4/24Booked 2 x double rooms rooms allocated were 710 and 721Right I’ll list what’s gone wrong with this stay1. got told to park in the disabled bay and just leave my blue badge in the windscreen and it car will be fine this was at approx 10:302. Got told at approx 18:30 to log my car in otherwise I’d get fined .3. got to room 721 to find there was no tv remote4. telephoned down to say there was no tv remote or room telephone so used my own mobile again also got told you was going digital, so got a WhatsApp slip of paper pushed under the door5. settled down for a cuppa and the kettle didn’t work6. WhatsApp used and messaged about the kettle received no reply or answer so telephoned down after waiting 45mins ,then after phoning down a new kettle wasdelivered7. The room was cold and felt damp so I turned the heating up and got into bed8. In the morning16/4/24 I threw the quilt back and some crimson paper like confetti, crepe paper pieces flew out from under the quilt, at this time I felt dirty as what else was wrong with the bedding9. went for a shower and there was well I don’t know what it was in the bath in two places ,it looked like chewed food pieces10. The bed was so uncomfortable I hardly slept a wink11. I had to check out only after getting a wash and not a shower as I didn’t want to use the bath with what was in the bath12. I mentioned all of the above to reception and the said they would get the old manager to call me the same day so after 2 phone calls back to yourselves and a Wait of over 30hrs for a return call. I telephoned again and spoke to yourself ,so I know wait for a call from yourself tomorrow 17/4/24I feel I have been totally let down by your hotel ,amenities and staff on this occasion.

GOOD LOCATION

Liked: LOCATION. FRIENDLY STAFF AND COMFY BED
Disliked: THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY POOR. LOOKED LIKE THE CHEAPEST SAUSAGES ON THE PLANET AND NO MUSHROOMS. THERE WASNT A GREAT CHOICE OF ANYTHING, INCLUDING YOGURT. I JUST HAD THE VERY SMALL PASTRIES.THE CAR PARK IS NOT EASY TO FIND, NEEDS MORE SIGNAGE. WE ENDED UP IN THE NEARBY NCP WHICH COST US MORE.

Pleasant stay disappointing reception staff

Liked: N_/A think it is over priced
Disliked: I found the staff at reception to be rude and abrupt they certainly needed some people skill training. Having stayed at this hotel before and did not encounter this i was very disappointed this time. They certainly didn't have the right manner to be the first point of contact for customers
