Nice hotel on a hill

Liked: Had a lovely park right across the road that you could wander around in. A couple of pubs not too far for meals.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I didn't like that I had to get out from under the water in the shower to access the body wash and shampoo etc. I think this is in a bad position. I realise this is difficult to fix but it is a bad set up.

Noisey short stay

Liked: The hotel has all the facilities that one may need for a business trip. Staff were friendly and welcoming and check-in was very smooth. My colleague and I opted for the 2-block walk to George St (the main hub) rather than eat at the pub-food restaurant attached to the hotel, so the hotel is well-located.
Disliked: Hotel is located on a main road with frequent traffic. My room faced this road, so it was very noisy. I didn't get much sleep because of this. A small sign inside the room says that "Launceston is alive", but the way the building and windows are constructed, it is like sleeping out on the street itself. Bring earplugs if you intend to stay here!

Convenient hotel for a short...

Liked: The hotel was central to the city centre and within walking distance to several landmarks of Launceston.
Disliked: Our room was located next to the main road, so it was a bit noisy. Also the pillows were not comfortable for us.

Disliked: Fan in bathroom needed cleaning
