Great stay in Hannover

Liked: We ran the Hannover half marathon and stayed at the Mercure Hotel City. Basically just a stones throw from the start of the run.The room was spacious, the beds firm, the shower as you would wish it. Really friendly staff, despite the stress of an event weekend. And a wonderful bonus of a late checkout. I can really recommend this hotel.
Disliked: The price of the breakfast, so we ate out.

Liked: My upgraded room was lovely. The minibar, bathrobe and coffee machine made the room extra comfortable. There was a great choice of foods at breakfast, including 5 different types of eggs and the smoked salmon was delicious. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful indeed.
Disliked: Great hotel, nothing I didn't like!

Liked: Excellent location nearby museums and close to oldtown. Room is very clean and cozy

Disliked: The coffee at breakfast. A proper/better coffee machine would do marvels.

Liked: The location is great. Liked the breakfast. Attentive staff.
Disliked: The first room we got was on the last attic floor, very small and dark. Also there was a heavy ventilation sound so we needed to change it for another room. The second one was great though, it even had a terrace.

Disliked: Old rooms, very poor furnitures. Breakfast poor, sweets and cakes very limited.
