Need Attention
Liked: Near to supermarket and parkings are available
Disliked: My experience wasn't great. First of all, the room didn't seem to be well cleaned, it seemed like it was done quickly and without much attention to detail. Second, there was a strange smell in the bathroom, and the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close properly. Also, the electricity went out for a while in the middle of the night but came back on after five minutes. And the biggest disaster on top of all of this, the cleaning lady came in the morning and opened the door and wanted to get in. they woke us up It was totally inappropriate. Plus they are talking and laughing on the hallway without any consideration to people inside rooms!!!!!

Liked: My recent 4-night business trip to Berlin at the Mercure Hotel Berlin City West presented a mixed experience. While the staff was exceptional, the room cleanliness fell significantly short of expectations.Positive Aspects:Exceptional Staff: The hotel staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. From the warm welcome note and sweets in my room to the detailed directions provided by reception staff, they went above and beyond. The receptionist's recommendations for local activities and the convenient souvenir shop in the lobby were also greatly appreciated.Delicious Food: Both the breakfast buffet and the lobby restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious and high-quality food. The man working at the lobby restaurant was also very polite.
Disliked: Areas for Improvement:Room Cleanliness: The cleanliness of my Superior Queen Room was a major concern. Upon arrival, the bathroom was noticeably dirty, with a stained shower curtain and an unclean toilet. Furthermore, the shower/bathtub combination drained poorly, leading to standing water and discomfort. There were big holes on the blackout curtains.Cleaning Policy: While I understand the hotel's policy of cleaning rooms every third day, the initial lack of cleanliness exacerbated the issue. As the room was not thoroughly cleaned upon my arrival, the three day policy was not ideal in this situation. It is important to note that I chose the "do not disturb" option, therefore did not ask for a room cleaning outside of the policy, as I did not feel that this would make things better.Lobby Condition: The shattered glass in the hotel lobby's main entrance doors was concerning and created an unwelcoming first impression.
