Perfect location shame about the...

Liked: Perfect hotel for visiting Haydock Races, good room and nice place.
Disliked: Im sorry to have to write this but I have no choice. The hotel has a permanent large marquee for weddings and there was a wedding on the night we stayed, we overlooked the marquee. Needless to say it was loud until Midnight and we were hoping for an early night which wasn't possible. We reported it to the receptionist who questioned if we had been told on arrival (which we hadn't) and even if we had it would have been too late anyway. I can't understand why they would put us in a room overlooking the wedding when we were not part of the wedding party. The receptionist said she would let the manager know and he would be in contact, that was five days ago and we have heard nothing. Be aware if booking at weekends and check….
