Passable

Liked: Staff were great, hotel was reasonably well kept.
Disliked: Would have been nice to know in advance that there would be coach loads of children staying over the weekend. They were loud, running through halls at night and early in the morning. Children's swimming lesson in the pool till 4 pm. Shame because it's why I chose the hotel, for the spa facilities, but couldn't really use them

Lovely hotel

Liked: The hotel staff was very friendly and they were always on hand if you needed anything. The room was clean and tidy and hotel itself was clean and i personnaly like the decor and cozy feel. Breakfast was good too.

Superb

Liked: The staff were absolutely amazing with my child who has autism. It was his first trip in a hotel and he loved it so much he has asked to go back for his birthday! A special shout out to Kate W who served our evening meal both nights. She was very helpful.

Pleasant

Liked: Lots of seating areas, nicely decorated, decent size bedroom and good shower
Disliked: My room was not cleaned at all, beds not made, no clean towels, teas coffee tea and milk not replenished, toilet would not flush, food in restaurant sent back twice due to incorrect order, ignored at bar when waiting to be served, requested ground floor room for my 83 year old father with severe mobility issues, called ahead to explain he needs a room really close amenities, I was told his room was just behind reception, upon check in, his room was down very long corridors , 3 doors from the end of the hotel, asked to change rooms, was told fully booked, disappointed that the hotel only has 1 room for a disabled walk in shower.

Disliked: Dated and needs refresh especially bathroom and curtains, holes in curtains

Liked: The location and swimming pool
Disliked: Our room had paint peeling off on the wall. The bed was two singles pushed together and it wasn’t very comfortable. We could feel the springs in our backs. Our friends had booked the same room and theirs was so much better

Stay was ok room not...

Liked: Staff were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: The carpet was dirty The pull out futon was badly stained and one of the bars was bent and couldn’t get it back to being a settee so we could sit on it.
