Liked: The room was clean and tidy
Disliked: That the car parking we had to pay extra Only found out once we got there. Also, had to pay extra to use the leisure facilities. If known we may not of chosen this property

Superb

Liked: We have stayed before and it is a great location and a really good hotel
Disliked: Breakfast was a disappointment this time. Maybe they were short staff? Plates were cold, the coffee machine wasn't working and when it was fixed, there was a queue as there was only one machine present. This was all unusual as the breakfast is usually excellent.

Liked: Lovely as you walk in, reception staff fantastic. All staff are helpful and kind.
Disliked: The bedroom was a family room. Normal bed comfy. The double sofa bed n single bed are here do us, mattress is awful can feel all the metal really uncomfortable, my 7 year old told me not sleeping in that, it's horrible and lumpy.

Quality but deceptive pricing

Liked: Everything except see below.
Disliked: To book then be told spa is extra from 1st April. Not obvious at all on Booking.com - in fact hidden away in 2 sub-menus and doesn't fully display on mobile screen. Petty. If you had upped the room price by £10 I wouldn't have noticed. But on top of your extremely high car parking charge, just leaves a bad taste. Doesn't feel honest. Then to be told that if I wanted to visit the spa in the morning as well, I have to pay again! Nasty. Plenty of comparable hotels offer spa inclusive, no extra parking and quite frankly a better spa. (Ie locally - Woodbury Park).
