Liked: At check in we dealt with John and Kieran.. both were polite, approachable and extremely helpful.And both continued to be wonderful whenever we were at reception.
Disliked: Had to ask twice for our room to be cleaned even though we advised front desk each morning. Communication to housekeeping needs to be better.

Liked: Great location, nice bar area and good selection of breakfast options. We were there for our daughters uni graduation and there were nice touches

Liked: I liked the location.
Disliked: I don’t like making a booking and then finding out there are additional charges (I’m a returning customer and these charges were not in place previously). This hotel has started making an additional charge to use the pool and claims it’s towards improvements and ongoing up-keep. As a returning customer I can confirm there have been no changes or improvements made to the swimming pool, in fact the sauna was out of order. The hotel is classed as 4 star and lists a fitness suite and swimming pool. Upon checking the classification of 4 stars I found the following “ A guest booking a 4 four star hotel with more than 100 rooms should expect at least a gym, pool, some level of spa services, dining and some level of room service” Therefore there is an expectation that a guest can use these services and not incur additional charges. I feel this hotel is getting away with mis-leading customers.

Liked: The room was very clean and large, with plenty of light. In particular, the wet room was very welcome. We were part of a wedding party and the arrangements were brilliant. The staff were very pleasant and helpful
Disliked: As part of the wedding party I had to arrive early to set up the cake etc. I did ask if there was any chance of an early check in and was told no, which I understood, as check in was 14.00. However, at 13.45 when I went to check in and was STILL told its too early, I was a little taken aback. I was also disappointed with the breakfast on the morning we checked out. The sausages tasted sour, as if they were going off, the bacon had been reheated as it was very tough and the scrambled eggs were so dry. I actually left mine as I thought it was inedible.
