One night stay

Liked: Rooms were decent, lots of room. Shower was amazing! What made our stay was the lovely staff, recommend if you?re staying in Exeter.
Disliked: Considering the recent pandemic the room wasn?t as clean as we expected it to be, quite dusty, quite a few dead flies on windowsills, but nothing too bad.

Would expect more attention to...

Liked: Very conveniently located 2 minutes from high street, shops, interest sites. Quiet room, friendly staff at reception.
Disliked: Considering they must have been out of business for the last few months, they should have made sure to clean the rooms properly. We had an extensible sofa; before leaving took a peak underneath to make sure we weren't leaving anything behind. Surprisingly, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned underneath for months: dust, pennies, wet wipes and tissues, you name it - gross. Only had one toilet roll when we arrived. We were with a 1 year old, so we use more than the average. We asked for more the following morning - we were given only another one (rationing?). We called ahead to ask for a cot and were promised one would be there waiting. It wasn't, so we had to remind them and got it in the end. 7 breakfast - very frugal, call it a mini snack maybe.

Pleasant

Liked: The staff upon entrance were very welcome and the public areas very nice.
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable as it had spring mattress and you could feel the springs. We had a family room so 2 beds and both were the same. It also lacked a mini fridge so the yogurts, water and orange juice we brought for breakfast couldn't remain cool.
