Disliked: Room had a horrible smell that I couldn't get out even with the windows and door open, hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor, tissue box empty... the place itself is nice but housekeeping doesn't seem to be doing their job at all

Liked: The property overall was very nice, the pool is nice and sauna. Comfortable beds. Great location.
Disliked: The girl on the front desk wasn’t very friendly & was eating out the back while we waited at the desk :( she didn’t apologise. I think it’s unfair to charge for use of the pool. We had dirty towels in our room.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff

Liked: As always the hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were superb , always ready to help and with a smile. Ar checkout Tasmin was really helpful.
Disliked: This was our 4th visit to Daventry Mercure. Only issue we had was choice at breakfast buffet was not as lavish as usual. However it will not stop us going back!
