Liked: Love the atmosphere of pool and bar
Disliked: Cabin was average. I've stayed here a few times. But this time, I questioned if I would stay again. The cabin was not really clean. When I moved the cluch, there were heaps of dirty tissues, and rubbish under the bunks. The aircon in main room, couldn't turn it off. The couch needs replacing, tiny 2 seater that is super uncomfy. Not suitable for a cabin that sleeps 4

Liked: Close to airport
Disliked: Considering there were renovations happening there was no discount. Husband & son checked in & had no water in the room for 30mins. Upon mentioning it to reception they were told “oh yes we have the plumbers here”

Disliked: Mecure Darwin airport & Novotel are always my choice of stay when travelling through for work or leisure. My last stay sadly was not good. The room was not what I had reserved, the bed was terribly uncomfortable (they usually are but the bed in this room was NOT) and my room was filled with lots of small cockroaches all over the floor and bedside tables. When politely and discreetly advising the hotel staff at reception the following morning this was brushed off and not seen as an issue. Photos of the roaches were provided to the reception staff. Sadly, I may need to revise the choice of stay moving forward if unable to reserve a room in the new Novotel side.

Disliked: The new pool area was closed for maintenance but we were not notified prior to booking .There was a fan running in the room at maximum speed , the switch had been covered by a bed board leaving it not possible to turn off .The pictures of the room showed multiple pillows on the beds and nice bed decor but the room only had one pillow on each bed .The pool that was open had a lot of leaves in it .Water service was noisy when the room above showered .Shower was tired and overall room tired .Parking was not free for in the compound

Disliked: Reception was slow and was waiting about an hour to check in, when told where room was the directions given to find the room were not helpful. Value for money for the price of the room is nowhere near worth it
