A bit disappointed
Liked: Staff very friendly but too few.
Disliked: No air conditioning in room. OK breakfast but not great. Mix up by staff resulting in someone calling our room saying we had not paid for our dinner when in fact we had paid in cash before we left the restaurant

Never again
Liked: Proximity to what I needed, and the main sports bar was great.
Disliked: Room was dark and in need of refurb, in-room bins hadn’t been emptied from the previous guest’s stay, the coffee machine and kettle needed to be put on the floor in order to plug them in, the linen had holes in it, some of the bathroom toiletries were empty, the breakfast experience as a whole was woeful with the quality of both food and drink on offer just plain terrible.

A dreadful experience, and expensive...
Liked: Not much, apart from the staff we engaged with - see below.
Disliked: Due to illness/family issues (or whatever) the hotel was grossly understaffed and the two evenings we ate at the hotel resulted in waits of over 90 minutes for our meals to be served. On the Friday night everyone in the restaurant suffered the same issues. Tables remained uncleared throughout the evening(s). However, when the food did arrive it was well cooked. The breakfast buffet was also compromised, as well as a lack of milk (for tea/cereals etc), the selection was very limited. In addition, the overall condition of the hotel was tired, particularly the bathrooms where staining on the floors was clear, and the paintwork flaking around the door frames and skirting. The rooms were also very warm and no air conditioning available, and the windows only open a small amount. We were also left with a single towel after the room was cleaned on day 2, despite our room clearly having 2 occupants. Given the premium price paid per room (compared to the ever-reliable Premier Inns we normally use) this was not a good experience at all. We were participants at the Brands Hatch SuperPrix, one of the five largest events held at the circuit, and the hotel had clearly not planned its workforce properly, even allowing for some sickness/family issues. The Duty Manager was very apologetic, as were the other department managers, but the GM was not available and everyone seemed disillusioned with the support they had from above. Very disappointing
