Would only stay again if...

Liked: It was next to the racetrack. The staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: The property is dated and old - and it’s obvious management aren’t really on it. My room was next to mechanical plant so buzzed all night long disrupting my sleep. There were no other rooms but reception gave me 2 drinks vouchers which was nice but didn’t help my sleep. I don’t pay over 150 and expect poor sleep. You shouldn’t have this room on your scope unless it’s fully sound proofed.Spa services weren’t available either and I only booked to use spa and sauna.Pool Was nice tho but could they not do work out ifHours? Disappointing. Hotel very basic and dated but staff tried to be helpful , tho some seemed a bit slow/not able to sort things which I put down to poor general management. I wouldn’t pitch this as 4*Food was good, bhajis were really awesome but the curry tasted as it pre-made chicken/ready meal and the nan was one you’d buy in a supermarket. But for ‘inclusive’ in the room rate guess it was nice/fine.

Nice staff but rooms need...

Liked: Location was great to the track and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice in the morning to use though the sauna was not working but not an issue.
Disliked: Bed was extremely uncomfortable the mattress i could feel the springs. the crib was in the room for free which was great but no mattress in it so my 1yr old slept on the bed with me on top of the quilt. Bathroom was clean but tiles missing/cracked and the drawers in room were broken. Also the parking was a pain the machine didn't work outside so I had to pay online but this cost an extra £3 to do so and rather expensive.

Although it is convenient when...

Liked: Breakfast ok. Indian menu very goodWhen no hot water they did give us breakfast for free
Disliked: 1st morning only weak coffee from the breakfast machine. Had to request the room to be serviced. Used cup left unwashed. No hot water 6.30am on Sunday. Complained and it came on too late at 7.45. Door to kitchen really grubby. See photo. Advertise Starbucks everywhere, but just a button machine behind the bar and only available when bar manned. I paid £350 per night, my daughter paid £250. The hotel computer showed we had booked 2 minutes apart We had stayed several times before and all had been ok

Liked: Found the staff to be incredibly helpful and cheerful
Disliked: Not enough tea bags and steam room and sauna under maintenance although this was compensated for

Extremely poor and not going...

Liked: Breakfast at £15, is expensive and generally looked tired,and dirty. The coffee machine was only providing black coffee on the first morning. Also no mugs on tables so had to use take away.
Disliked: The restaurant was very dirty, the doors to the kitchen so dirty. It’s looked very tired. Advertised air con but non, no water in the room, and on the last day there was no hot water.

Good but disappointed about paying...

Disliked: On arrival had to pay an extra £10 for parking... never had to pay for parking at good hotels.
