Liked: The setting and gardens Charm Our room was clean and comfortable
Disliked: We really did NOT enjoy the dining area … The food was served in the pub area with TV screens, bright lights … NOT APPEALING.Not sure why the other dining area was not used? The food was good.

Disliked: Areas of the hotel need to be refurbished, the price was inflated because of Anzac Day, I didn’t buy breakfast because it was so expensive. Air conditioner in the room didn’t work

Location was good, hotel needs...

Liked: Effort was put in for ANZAC day including tea and coffee before the Dawn Service. Breakfast post Dawn Service was nice. Location for the War Memorial was perfect.
Disliked: Location was perfect for Dawn Service on Anzac day but that was about it! Bed was uncomfortable, only access was via stairs (fine for us but other much older clients were checking in as well). Bathroom was so very tiny, like a caravan bathroom. Very noisy room, could hear basic conversations from the street and hall way... could do with double glazed windows. It is a lovely old building but really needs some work for the amount of money we were charged for 2 rooms for 1 night!

Liked: Chose this because it was close to our son’s uni sharehouse. Really good for travelling with pets.
Disliked: The decor was very dated and in particular the woodwork around the property was in a bad state. Really needs repainting.
