Liked: The grounds and free parking.
Disliked: Beautiful grounds and free parking. However the room (505) picked up too much noise from the neighbour. Each time they used their taps (which was right thorough the night to early morning) it was as though the water system would start churning loudly. This resulted in disturbed sleep for me. Staff unsympathetic. Wouldn't return.

Liked: Very quiet , no noise throughout the night
Disliked: Some areas a little tired but understandable given lack of income in the hotel trade for the last few months

Disliked: The room was a little hot and when we opened the windows there was a fair amount of noise early in the morning. Spiderwebs in the top corner of the room

Liked: Lovely surrounding area and pleasant staff - got upgraded from our room by a lovely lady at reception!
Disliked: It was a very warm weekend and the room was very stuffy and too hot - the little fan provided didnt quite do the job - need air conditioning in the rooms for hot summer nights

Good value for money, clean...

Liked: Cleanliness of room, politeness of staff
Disliked: Room on top floor that felt like a furnace, no air con just a fan available and TV was faulty. Staff seemed to be new and a little inexperienced but polite and accommodating.

Lovely old house that could...

Liked: Lovely grounds, interconnecting rooms available, nice (if small) breakfast, kids ate free (although this wasn't publicised anywhere.)
Disliked: Communication with reception was only via WhatsApp, not ideal for guests who don't have that facility. Hardly any plug sockets, and none where you wanted them. Big locked wardrobe taking up space pointlessly (there was also a built in wardrobe you could actually use.) Slightly dated decor.

We had a better experience...

Liked: On the second night, (Thanks to Rafaela) they finally abled to move us to the room we ordered since the beginning. The breakfast was nice, the family room was clean and nice. They gave us free 1 drink voucher and said we might be able to get discount off of the first night?s stay.
Disliked: Booked a family room as a birthday present for my bf a month ago. Got the double room with all request being ignored. When we arrived to the room, told them there might be a mistake they said all of the other room is booked and theres no way we can stay in the family room (the room we ordered in the first place). They also said ?you shouldve called because we are overwhelmed by the ppl?. The double room was burning hot, there is a tiny cockroach, and a bit dusty.
