Cannot fault the hotel or the room but disappointed with the check in. Would recommend to anybody looking for a hotel in Bristol.

Liked: Excellent staff.
Disliked: Was informed our rooms were not ready but if we paid 10.00 they would be.

Great location, pool was fab...

Liked: Pool/rooms/reception staff fantastic
Disliked: No clean cups and top up of tea coffee after first night. The shower is incredibly slow to drain - even for a quick wash had to turn it off and wait for it to drain a little before putting it back on. After washing my hair it took over 20 minutes for the water to drain out.

Very positive. Great food, friendly...

Liked: Friendly staff, efficient, always willing to help with a smile. Bedroom was clean and comfortable, good size, with good facilities.
Disliked: Tried to contact reception and room service but could not get an answer. When booked requested a fruit bowl and bottled water in the room. Not there on arrival.

Clean, but dated. DON'T STAY...

Liked: Hotel was clean.
Disliked: My room was right next to the pool table on the ground floor, which meant it was extremely noisy late into the night. The bed and headboard in the room are on the other side of the wall that guests lean against when playing pool. This meant noise went on until gone midnight and I couldn't get to sleep! I spoke to reception and asked to move but unfortunately they said the hotel was full. The staff member said the pool table was for 'show' and the other guests would only being having 1 game as the token to empty the balls came from reception. Over two hours later, gone midnight, and the they were still going and making a lot of noise. No issue with merry guests playing pool - they were staying at the hotel too and can do what they wish, BUT the location of the table and the fact the staff ignored the phone call to reception after this had been going on for over 2 hours was really annoying. I was a business guest and wanted a good nights sleep before a conference, but ended up with very little. I won't be looking to stay here again.

Liked: Stayed here 5 times now as it is really nice, lovely decor & very spacious rooms. Perfect for shopping weekends. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Definitely good value!
Disliked: The beds are on wheels and aren?t secured down by anything so move around too easily.Always had a struggle to get a parking space.
