My partner and I were quite surprised by this hotel. It was quite posh! However, there was a diverse clientele which was good to see. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a standard double room - the bed was comfy, the room clean, bath towels/toiletries were supplied and clean towels everyday! There was a kettle and different coffees/tea available which was extra handy. You just have to search the drawers for them. :) There were extra pillows and a half decent TV for those chill out moments relaxing. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - we thought it seemed a little expensive, but we didn't see portions or anything so can't really comment, except that they were busy at breakfast! The staff were very nice and helpful. There is a bar underneath the hotel called Marlows which was an excellent place to have a quiet drink. We went to a gig on the Saturday night and didn't really fancy the busy clubs - Marlows was perfect for an evening drink. Lovely seating and atmosphere to the place. This hotel was great and although it's a tiny bit pricey, I would use this hotel again. Sometimes, money doesn't matter if you're looking for a good time. My partner and I had an excellent stay - the place was easy to find, and so close to town. Would definitely recommend!

Liked: Very nice rooms and great location.
Disliked: It's very very loud. Room next door came home late, and we could hear every single word. They weren't even being loud, the walls are just paper thin.

Disliked: Advertised that it had parking but didn’t say they were going to charge 17 quid a night for it.

Great location, nice rooms, aircon...

Liked: Location was brilliant, close to coach station and Hippodrome
Disliked: Lovely bathroom however no fan in there and plug was not draining in the shower so was flooding the floor
