My partner and I were quite surprised by this hotel. It was quite posh! However, there was a diverse clientele which was good to see. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a standard double room - the bed was comfy, the room clean, bath towels/toiletries were supplied and clean towels everyday! There was a kettle and different coffees/tea available which was extra handy. You just have to search the drawers for them. :) There were extra pillows and a half decent TV for those chill out moments relaxing. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - we thought it seemed a little expensive, but we didn't see portions or anything so can't really comment, except that they were busy at breakfast! The staff were very nice and helpful. There is a bar underneath the hotel called Marlows which was an excellent place to have a quiet drink. We went to a gig on the Saturday night and didn't really fancy the busy clubs - Marlows was perfect for an evening drink. Lovely seating and atmosphere to the place. This hotel was great and although it's a tiny bit pricey, I would use this hotel again. Sometimes, money doesn't matter if you're looking for a good time. My partner and I had an excellent stay - the place was easy to find, and so close to town. Would definitely recommend!

Liked: Very central; easy access to town centre, O2 Academy etc.

Good

Liked: The location is good. Everything is within walking distance. One of the room we booked was in decent size.
Disliked: The other room we got was quite small for two people. Almost no where for luggage. The sound proof is pretty bad, you can hear everything outside your door. The night we stayed, there was also a construction going on last till 7:30pm on a Friday, which is disturbing. The facilities were a bit outdated. We had to get staff to help close the window as it’s too old and stuck.

Lovely stay (just a shame...

Liked: Perfect location and parking. Staff were absolutely fantastic and apologetic about our issues, even though it wasn’t their fault
Disliked: Air con was broke in our room, on one of the hottest weekends of the year. We also had a leak from the shower, which happened over night so early hours of the morning we were cleaning up water… that said the staff were brilliant and apologetic

An enjoyable stay with my...

Liked: The room was OK although a little small. I would have preferred to have some separation between the twin beds and some more storage space. The hotel was quiet and centrally located although tricky get to. The housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: The kettle and tea making area was under what appeared to be a clothes hanging rail, although there was no socket nearby. My biggest gripe was that the car parking had increased by £5 a day between the time I booked and when we arrived. This was a day tariff despite a display in the car park giving different rates. Combined with the new clean air charge it made for an expensive few days.
