My partner and I were quite surprised by this hotel. It was quite posh! However, there was a diverse clientele which was good to see. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a standard double room - the bed was comfy, the room clean, bath towels/toiletries were supplied and clean towels everyday! There was a kettle and different coffees/tea available which was extra handy. You just have to search the drawers for them. :) There were extra pillows and a half decent TV for those chill out moments relaxing. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - we thought it seemed a little expensive, but we didn't see portions or anything so can't really comment, except that they were busy at breakfast! The staff were very nice and helpful. There is a bar underneath the hotel called Marlows which was an excellent place to have a quiet drink. We went to a gig on the Saturday night and didn't really fancy the busy clubs - Marlows was perfect for an evening drink. Lovely seating and atmosphere to the place. This hotel was great and although it's a tiny bit pricey, I would use this hotel again. Sometimes, money doesn't matter if you're looking for a good time. My partner and I had an excellent stay - the place was easy to find, and so close to town. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely space, accessible, friendly, comfy...

Liked: Perfect location, so central and within easy walking distance to so much of the city even with 2 children in tow! The reception area, bar and staff were lovely and welcoming, very helpful and patient during the stay and upon check out. The hotel is chic and well designed, the family room was beautiful, loved the artwork and how comfy and well laid out the room was!
Disliked: Room was quite dark being on 3rd floor

Nice stay

Liked: Staff are faultless. They couldn't help enough. Gentleman at bar was great. Asked for cappuccino and he was excellent.
Disliked: The walls are thin. Can hear everything. The bath tub was a little grimey and cover on duvet was too big so flap fabric.

Hotel OK

Liked: Oginal room on 1st floor not suitable because of mecahnical buzzing noise in the corridor so the receptionist immediately gave us another room on 4th floor . However it was small, with one side of the double bed against a wall. The bathroom in this room 407 seriously needs renovation.
Disliked: Large chips on bath and sink enamel. One sided bed because of wall.
