My partner and I were quite surprised by this hotel. It was quite posh! However, there was a diverse clientele which was good to see. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a standard double room - the bed was comfy, the room clean, bath towels/toiletries were supplied and clean towels everyday! There was a kettle and different coffees/tea available which was extra handy. You just have to search the drawers for them. :) There were extra pillows and a half decent TV for those chill out moments relaxing. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - we thought it seemed a little expensive, but we didn't see portions or anything so can't really comment, except that they were busy at breakfast! The staff were very nice and helpful. There is a bar underneath the hotel called Marlows which was an excellent place to have a quiet drink. We went to a gig on the Saturday night and didn't really fancy the busy clubs - Marlows was perfect for an evening drink. Lovely seating and atmosphere to the place. This hotel was great and although it's a tiny bit pricey, I would use this hotel again. Sometimes, money doesn't matter if you're looking for a good time. My partner and I had an excellent stay - the place was easy to find, and so close to town. Would definitely recommend!

Liked: Very central; easy access to town centre, O2 Academy etc.

We enjoyed our stay but...

Liked: Bed comfortable, shower great. At least the bathroom had good lighting except for the position of the light over the mirror so you stood in your own shadow. (Again sack your designers!)Enjoyed the breakfast and the Reception staff were lovely.
Disliked: Room was dark and gloomy because of bad design of lighting and decor. The industrial look just didn’t work. The toilet was cramped in between the wall and the sink so you always knocked the toilet roll to the floor. A few inches to the right with the sink would have solved that. Sack your designers!

Great location, but if coming...

Liked: location, decor
Disliked: Parking - very expensive, took 20mins to get Ito car park from street outside due to road closure.Took even longer to get out , ticket wouldn’t allow exit. And for a ‘secure’ car park , junkies in the stairwell, drug use rubbish lying everywhere.Breakfast- coffee machine broken, pancake machine broken, half of cooked food items empty.Reception- staff very unhelpful regarding Parking problems.Room - small, not even enough room to open wardrobe fully.

Pleasant stay and great location.

Liked: Location of the Hotel was fantastic for the purposes of the visit. The breakfast provided a good selection of options and staff were very helpful.
Disliked: Lighting in the room was quite poor - difficult to see when working in the room. Parking whilst available, was not clear to identify, follow or access on arrival - which can be frustrating when not familiar with location.
