Great location for a short...
Liked: It was a good location. Staff were lovely. Couldn’t do enough and really friendly
Disliked: Room looked tired - worn carpet, dusty kettle, no air con. No sound proofing so couldn’t sleep well because the people in rooms nearby were very loud . Breakfast was good if you managed to get anything - as soon as hot food was brought out it all vanished quite quickly. And this was mid week.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights...
Liked: The staff were really helpful and polite. Bar area was nice to have use of. Breakfast was really good. Managed to park on site.
Disliked: Parts of the hotel were looking a bit tired , bit of tlc needed.

Liked: Staff was lovely and willing to help any way they could. Hotel itself was out dated. Not worth 4 stars. Breakfast was solely local and not international. The entrance was pretty but we were located in the back next to parking lot which had nothing to do with the rest of the hotel.
Disliked: The hotel was not that clean. You could tell that it once was a top rated hotel but they haven’t done anything since then. As specially the back of the hotel which we stayed in was not worth the 4 stars

I would book another hotel
Liked: The location was good on the sea front.
Disliked: Extremely disappointed regarding the cleanliness of the room provided during our recent stay.We are currently staying at your hotel, having paid £191 for the room, and were expecting a standard of cleanliness in line with the reputation and standards that Mercure Hotels promote. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. The room is not clean and falls far short of what we would expect, especially at this price point.Your website and marketing materials highlight cleanliness as a top priority, and we specifically chose your hotel based on those assurances. It is therefore incredibly disappointing to find the room in such an unacceptable condition.We would appreciate this issue being addressed urgently and some form of compensation or explanation provided. At the very least, the room should be cleaned properly as a matter of priority.I look forward to your prompt response.
