Liked: Good for an overnight stay great location for what we were doing
Disliked: I thought it smelt funny, though my husband didn’t. The breakfast was typical buffet style looks good but cheap ingredients.

Great for what I needed

Liked: Comfortable bed lovely shower
Disliked: Would have liked a swim but pool was out of use until June 28th

I wouldn’t come back.

Liked: Not a great deal. It’s a few years since I last stayed here, it wasn’t too good back then and it has gone downhill.
Disliked: I was in a garden room. Directly outside my window were two discarded beer bottles and a green bag of dog excrement.

Liked: Staff brilliant, dinner was excellent very tasty and good price. Room spacious and comfortable
Disliked: Road side room was a bit noisy with the traffic and breakfast while good there was a wait for the food to be topped up

Lovely location but Underwhelming and...

Liked: Lovely locationBuilding where we staying was apart from the main building so you have to go outside to get there.The rooms were OK but nothing specialThe shower guard did not fit well so the water flooded the floor.Only just enough milk for one cup of tea each, not enough.
Disliked: Not enough milk for tea. No contact with Reception from other building - no phone in room and no answer when called main line.A groups of teenage boys loitering for hours in the corridor last night making a noise and forcing guests to step over them. No way to contact Reception without going through the rain . Not really the expected vibe for a £400+ family overnight stay.Also breakfast not included. The receptionist seemed surprised at the amount we were due to pay for our stay as though it were a lot. It was a lot. Hardly anyone in the hotel during the day, reception not always manned.

Disliked: It was a bit tired and needs some refurbishment. The rates charged are comparable with better grade hotels.
