Disliked: Children only allowed in pool at certain times and pool was small and they put a lane in for adults swimming on a children session

Liked: Location and grounds were nice.Good car park
Disliked: Overall, the place is a little tired.Threadbare in places.The food was very poor, fried pub grub would be a kind description.

Let down by the lack...

Liked: Overall the place was very nice, looked amazing, the bed was comfortable and the spa was lovely.
Disliked: we didn't have a room phone when it was specified that one should have been in our room which for me ruined my stay as i couldn't order room service and when i did want to contact the front desk i had to Google there number and ring from my mobile phone. Furthermore considering how much they have put into making the place look and feel as nice as it does, the lack of air-conditioning in the rooms was a big downside for me.

Liked: Loved the access to the pool and beautiful surrounding areas
Disliked: The overall cleanliness wasn’t 100% room felt dirty and corridors left unclean. Dirty plates around the corridors from people room service and not moved for hours. We love the fact dogs are allowed but put off by the dogs being allowed where breakfast is. A dog there wouldn’t stop barking and jumping at people and the behavior wasn’t question by staff. Also prices are well over priced! £57 for some swimming bottoms and costume!Overall disappointing for breakfast but other than that we enjoyed it

Liked: Lovely place to stay. Great location. Friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, staff constantly buzzing around making sure food was well stocked and fresh. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Spa visit was a little disappointing. Staff in the spa not very friendly. Towel/robe bins overflowing with full rubbish bag next to it. Was a bit grubby in places.
