Rooms were as we expected

Liked: Good location and spacious rooms
Disliked: Bathrooms need renovation.

Very friendly staff

Liked: The bar/restaurant area
Disliked: Rooms are tired

was ok for the night,

Liked: Quiet out of city centre location. Check in smooth, Good car park location to rooms,
Disliked: Terrible shower, no pressure and hard to get a comfortable temperature.

I was expecting more

Liked: The Mecure is a large complex with multiple rooms. The gardens and setting are lovely, and the room was large with nice heritage features. It is in a very good location.
Disliked: It took us a while to get the heater going, and unfortunately the room was freezing. We left the heater on while we went to dinner, but the room was still pretty cold when we got back. Also the bathroom was freezing too. The room, the skirting board, needed a bit of repair work.

From the time I checked...

Liked: Very clean, warm and comfortable, quiet.The showers were great. Nothing to fault.
Disliked: Nothing

Pleasant stay away from hustle...

Liked: That it was close to Sovereign Hill. The grounds were really lovely.
Disliked: There was only tea/coffee facilities in the room. No toaster/microwave.

Close to Sovereign Hill but...

Liked: Close proximity to Sovereign Hill, desk is manned 24/7, car spot close to accommodation was convenient.
Disliked: Sadly the rooms had an ant issue, they were everywhere, on the bedside tables, the beds, the walls, it was overall disappointing. We told the front desk and it felt it was on deaf ears. Not what I was expecting.
