Mercure Ayr Hotel

Ok place to stay.

Liked: Complimentary drink.
Disliked: Staff very helpful, room clean and comfy bed.

Good

Disliked: The windows (seals) are in a poor state of repair therefore the seagulls nesting on the roof above reception were very very loud from early in the morning.

Excellent

Liked: Everything really worth the money and right beside the town and 5 mins to the beach

Disliked: Public area toilets were not good.

Liked: Great location easy parking near shops and bars great value

Disliked: Shabby bedroom, empty shower gel, noisy room, fire doors banging 4am - 5am and other noise. ? Cleaning. Had to pay for parking. Breakfast one price 17.95 even if only continental wanted.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff in the reception were an excellent help and really went the extra mile to assist us with a sudden health emergency. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Passable but wouldn't choose to...

Disliked: Not particularly friendly.

Great stay would go back...

Liked: Breakfast was great you could ask what you wanted and what you didn't .All staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: I would have preferred a socket by the bed along with maybe a wee table just to put the phone and a bottle of water on
