Comfortable, affordable hotel.

Liked: Location was good. The room was lovely with a nice big comfy bed. The mini bar was stocked with water and orange juice we could use, and the parking at the hotel was great. There was a lift straight up to the hotel so we didn't have to lug our luggage up stairs. The staff were lovely and accommodating, especially the staff in the restaurant when we went for dinner. The food was delicious and very reasonable.
Disliked: There were major road works going on outside the hotel so it was a bit of a faff finding the parking, but when we did it was all good. The view onto a car park wasn't the nicest thing to see first thing in the morning, but that's just me being a bit pendantic.

Liked: Good location for the Somme/WW1 battlefields and wellington tunnels, easy parking. Clean

Liked: The hotel is well located and close to the centre square. The staff were great and tried very hard to assist us. The meals in the restaurant were delicious and the service in the bar from Tiffany was exceptional.
Disliked: We did not know that there was construction at the front of the hotel and had to access the hotel to find out where to park. Once we were instructed where we should go it was easy.We changed rooms as we found two bugs in our bathroom. The staff were quick with giving us another room but we had to move ourselves.
