Liked: The welcome lobby area and cafe area in the hotel are very nice and modern but unfortunately the rooms haven't had the same level of modernisation. However the rooms are mostly in good condition, the shower powerful, breakfast offered is good.

Liked: Good hotel, we have stayed here before. It's always a little expensive.
Disliked: The hotel had maintenance work that disrupted our sleep at night and in the morning, with no prior warning. A four-star hotel should have informed us via Booking.com or at check-in. The way the reception responded was actually kind of rude — as if it’s normal not to inform guests because ‘noise in the morning is fine.’ No apology was offered whatsoever. This lack of transparency and professionalism significantly impacted our overall experience.

Pleasant hotel

Liked: The hotel was decorated nicely, the food was good, and there were a few different choices . Staff were friendly This hotel was in an ideal location for me as i was there for surgery, and it was literally a 5 min walk to the clinic .Although there were a few issues , not major, i would return here
Disliked: We arrived at 12 pm , we were told that the room would not be ready until 3 so we had to wait a while. I did tell them that we would be arriving early on the booking app.There didn't appear to be any people waiting for rooms, so I'm not sure if they were short of cleaners or not.The bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. The one we stayed in, it needed updating. Grouting in the bathroom was quite bad, and also the taps .The magnifying mirror was no good for me as I'm only 5ft 2, and you needed to be a bit taller to see in it as it didn't pull away from the wall like the concertina ones most hotels have .The room itself was quite dark. I would have preferred a brighter room, but we were only there for 2 nights, so we didn't ask to be moved .The cleaning in the room didn't get done , towels were replaced, but no new cups were given as we had used them for the coffee facilities in the morning, so I was slightly disappointed in this . No bins emptied either.
