Mercure Annecy Sud

Great for a short stay,...

Liked: Nice room, good breakfast, lovely garden and friendly staff, great parking.
Disliked: Location out of town and a walk to get a bus - however we knew that when we booked it. It was important to us to have secure parking.

Liked: Excellent location for travelling into Annecy as there was a bus nearby
Disliked: When I checked in the reception said I had to leave a security deposit on my card and assured me it would remain on hold , however €250 was taken from my card , which I had to insist they paid back as soon as I saw it on my card the next day , it took 5 days to come back to me.

Seemed a little lacking for...

Liked: Breakfast was good, varied and fresh with lovely scrambled eggs and good coffee.
Disliked: It’s a little tired and didn’t really reach the levels that a Mercure hotel should aspire to. Air con couldn’t really cope with the heat and meant sleep quality suffered.

A pleasant stay !

Liked: Some rooms have jacuzzi. It is perfect during very hot summer.
Disliked: The restaurant is closed on Saturday night. Unbelievable for a 4*

Liked: Easy and quick to check-in (and out); lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi; room was nice.

Fabulous and comfortable.

Liked: The rooms were cozy and nice with clean bathrooms and towels. AC was working fine. Staff was kind and sweet. I didn't get to have breakfast but overall experience was great.
Disliked: Nothign as such. It was a little farther away from town.

Liked: Nice clean room and bathroom. Good Spa. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Multi-lingual staff were very helpful
Disliked: Location is a little tricky to find! (Signage could have been clearer)
