Superb

Liked: Very quiet. Comfy, super-King size bed. Delicious breakfast. Good size room. Twenty minutes down to the main shopping, restaurants, etc. Lovely, helpful staff at breakfast time. Big choice of delicious, a la carte hot breakfast items.
Disliked: There was no receptionist on arrival, as it's all automated. We needed to stand at a machine in the foyer and enter all our details (name, address, etc) there, as well as activate our own room cards. First time we've ever met this kind of reception with no human contact. It all felt odd, especially to not be able to ask a receptionist about local places of interest, etc.There was no A/C but the window could open for air. The room felt very hot at night. We took the duvet inner out of the cover and just slept under the sheets.

Amazing, great value for money,...

Liked: 2 bed apartment with Jacuzzi was fantastic. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when approached. Ample parking on site and cocktails excellent value for money during happy hour. Communal bar facilities very clean and in great condition. Would highly recommend anyone to visit this hotel.
Disliked: We didn't book a long enough stay to utilise all the other spa facilities.

Liked: Had a lovely three nights here for our anniversary. Staff were great - very friendly. Breakfast was lovely - despite reviews saying people waited a long time we found food arrived in less than 5 minutes and tasted great. Coffee is free from a machine but you have to pay extra for barista coffee. Swimming pool is massive! We had room 6 which had the most beautiful view. No mini fridges in room but staff provided us with champagne glasses and ice bucket. We loved Basil the cat!

Liked: Very clean hotel nice location room a good size did not get to try out the spar would have liked to see the spar and treatment room food we had was nice but not much choice very helpfully staff member who helped us book out online early but not sure if the system was working
Disliked: Not being able to look around spar. Always feel better about booking treatments if we see the staff .and when we inquired about it, we were told there was no available time, but we could check online we already had and new there were times available diced to book out early and head home but online system did not seem to work well

Relaxing two night couple stay

Liked: The hotel was perfect for a two night stay, we found the staff to be really friendly & helpful asking about our day & sorting any requests. The bed was comfy, shower was really nice & we opted for a massage which was massively over priced but still relaxing. Needed a few extra touches & care to be worth £105!! Breakfast was decent, nice to have it cooked to order. It was a shame that areas of the hotel were dusty including the window sill during breakfast, but overall we’d recommend this hotel. Also the £5 happy hour was a lovely touch & the goody bag on check out!
Disliked: Dust in areas, couldn’t fault much else

Lovely property, but the room...

Liked: The decor was lovely, and the toiletries were brilliant.
Disliked: Our room didn’t have a standing shower in it and the only option was to sit in the bath which wasn’t comfortable. It would have worked better if there was an option to have a hook on the wall to be able to have a standing shower. The main light in the room was very dim, so difficult to see when it was dark. There was no full length mirror in the room, and no dressing table area with a mirror to do your hair/make up if desired.

Pleasant

Liked: Lovely lounge. Friendly, attentive staff.
Disliked: Impersonal self check in. On a fairly busy road in built up area, although no traffic noise inside hotel. Room in modern annex so lacked the character of the main building.
