Great location, classic atmosphere but...

Liked: Beautiful old Manor house. Great atmosphere, Very nice old living / dining room / bar. Very friendly reception.
Disliked: After we booked we got the message that the restaurant would be closed and we couldn't get any breakfast or diner. But there was no opportunity any more to cancel the reservation at no cost... There are no coffee/tea facilities on the room and no bottles of water provided, so we literally couldn't get anything in the hotel during the night or morning. In the end they offered to provide us a bottle of water, a muffin and a banana on the morning we couldn't get any breakfast or coffee. For a place like this that positions itself as a high class accomodation this is just not acceptable. Hotel has great potential, but we would hope the current owners are able to reach its potential.
