Liked: The initial impression of the property were good, the outside is well kept. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The reception staff (Stephen) was really rude. We enquired about the possibility of getting a room earlier than the check in time stated as we had driven down to attend a wedding, one they were aware of as the whole wedding party was there. He was very rude and just abrupt. No issues with not getting a room early, just thought we might ask. The room was outdated, had mould on the ceiling and smelt of damp. The spa is also very outdated and some parts didn’t work on the day we attended.

Great stay with the family

Liked: Huge beds which were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice

Beautiful hideaway.

Liked: The hotel was very impressive...lovely drive up to a grand entrance. The reception was spacious and Sophia was very helpful and welcoming.The room was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed using the pool and it's facilities. The bar was very trendy and welcoming.
Disliked: The food and drinks I found just a tad over priced.Unfortunately for us there was a wedding taking place when we stayed. .this wasn't a problem until the hours of 12-2 am when people were leaving and congregated at the front of the hotel to get taxis...which is unfortunately below where our room was. It would not stop me staying again....I'd just request a room towards the back of the hotel if any functions were taking place.

Disliked: There was a wedding on Saturday and the room near to me had music blaring and shouting. I reported it to reception who addressed it straight away and offered to move the room but it did quieten down so all was good

Disappointing

Liked: Me and my family used to come to this hotel very often, especially for the swimming pool as the kids love it.The price paid for the room it's not cheap but it can be as we could use the facilities, now we visited again and the price went up and also you have to pay for the facilities even being a hotel guest.Disappointing!!!!

It was okay

Liked: The breakfast, the family room
Disliked: The restaurant menu. Kids loved it. Not much variety. Dogs not allowed in restaurants which was okay but not allowed in the bar either. This meant some one had to sit out with the dog.
