Wonderful

Liked: Melrose Mansion is a hidden gem, the hotel is beautiful and the room was very spacious. We loved the pool, with the garlands and flower petals falling in by accident. Breakfast was simple but very good, and all the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The location is perfect, between the Vieux Carré and Frenchmen Street, everything is within walking distance and the street is quiet.I would love to come back!

Liked: Beautiful Victorian mansion, well-maintained, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood.
Disliked: Not many parking spots on property but plenty on street parking available.

Perfect for couples and Frenchmen...

Liked: The look and feel, the location and the staff are overall excellent. Loved the fact that the pool was 7 feet deep, that meant it was cool during the heat wave. Ask Emily for guidance on what places to visit, we were very glad we did. Thanks Emily!
Disliked: Breakfast was simple, I missed some eggs, bacon, the freshly cooked section. Parking at the location was expensive (45 dollars a day). We took our chances and parked outside of the venue. All good, no tickets and no broken windows.
