Superb
Liked: Lovely hotel in a great quiet residential location and easy access to explore central London with Victoria bus and underground nearby. Can't praise the staff highly enough, lovely people with great customer service. Tea/coffee and pastries every morning an added delicious bonus to start the day. Small but very comfortable, clean rooms. Would definitely book again.

Liked: Exceptional Staff, Location, Quietness.
Disliked: If room is in the basement, footsteps from the floor above may be heard. Also, the window doesn’t fully open-it only opens slightly at the top, in a V-shape.

Liked: While the staff at The Melita Hotel were really very friendly and helpful, our stay overall was not a pleasant one. We wouldn’t come again and wouldn’t recommend it either.
Disliked: The hotel is sometimes listed as a 4-star property, but that’s highly misleading. It feels more like a budget hotel with minimal amenities. The rooms are extremely small—fitting luggage and moving around was difficult. On top of that, there’s no air conditioning, and even on average days, the rooms became so hot that it was hard to sleep comfortably. The creaky floors and thin walls meant we could hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax. The beds themselves were also quite small and not ideal for two people. In addition, our key cards stopped working multiple times even though we followed the staff’s instructions on how to store them properly. There is no elevator in the five-story building, which didn’t bother us personally, but it’s definitely worth noting for other travelers who might find that a challenge.
