Food and Drink Options

The sleek and minimalist SW7 Restaurant and Bar serves up Mediterranean-inspired takes on British classics—ideal for a pre-show dinner or late-night bite. While there isn’t 24/7 room service, the hotel’s central location means you're steps from a range of late-night eateries and cafes. Breakfast is available and perfect after a long night of dancing.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself leans more toward quiet sophistication, you’re a short ride from the buzzing nightlife hubs of Soho, Camden, and the South Bank. Prefer something low-key? Enjoy cocktails and conversation in SW7’s chic bar, or explore the many classy pubs and lounges tucked around Kensington.

What People Say

Guests love the stylish rooms, extremely comfortable beds, and the hotel’s strategic location close to museums, parks, and the Tube. Many highlight how easy it is to reach major attractions and venues. The hotel staff receives consistent praise for their friendly, helpful service.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the rooms can be on the smaller side, especially for groups with lots of luggage. Also, while the hotel is well-connected, it’s not in the thick of the nightlife scene—better for those who prefer quiet nights.

The Bottom Line

A stylish, well-connected boutique hotel that offers concert-goers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and classy post-show downtime.

We’ll be back soon!

Liked: Cozy, quiet and elegant, good buffet breakfast.
Disliked: On the first night, towels had a bad smell, most probably were not dried properly. At breakfast, hostesses were a bit slow.

Very good

Liked: The location couldn't have been better. For my conference at Imperial College, it was just a quick, easy walk. Having Hyde Park within reach was lovely for a break. The area around the hotel was fantastic too. Plenty of restaurants, cozy cafes, and even grocery stores were right on the same road, so we never had to go far for anything. The hotel was clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and really helpful.
Disliked: My only real issue was the elevator situation. There's just one, and it felt pretty slow at times.

A nice hotel, conveniently located

Liked: Front of house staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and called the room shortly after to check that everything was ok.
Disliked: We booked a premium king size room that was on ground level. The view wasn’t very nice - looked directly onto another building which looked very scruffy. The room could also do with some TLC, a freshen up of the paintwork and fixing of the shower head which we did report upon departure.

Good

Liked: The room style, the location and the service was great.
Disliked: The lighting in room was a bit dark and it was very noisy in one of the room that we had. My son could not sleep well for the whole 3 nights. Other than that it was great

Royal breakfast, but beware of...

Liked: The breakfast is good. The selection of products is limited, but the quality is excellent. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and not frozen concentrate, the omelettes are really good, and the bakery selection is decent. Even the bacon holds up well. We’ve stayed in higher-end hotels with much worse breakfasts! The room was very small, but it was well soundproofed. Despite being in the center of London, we managed to sleep with the window open.
Disliked: In three days, we never figured out how the air conditioning worked. Or rather, we’re not even sure it worked at all. One evening, when it was cold, we set it to 26 degrees, but it didn’t heat up.I find it in poor taste to ask at the moment of payment whether guests would like to add a 5% service charge. This approach is inappropriate. The guest is put in an awkward psychological position. If you really insist on this request, at least change the way you ask. Inform guests at check-in, or leave a note in the room, so they can decide in advance whether to give this tip or not—and it should be up to them to offer it, not you to ask for it!

Wonderful stay

Liked: Warm welcome as soon as we arrived, offered water which was much needed. When it was time to check-in, our bags were already brought up to our room. Greeting card on the table, nice facilites, and beautiful room. Checking out, they kindly booked a car for us to Paddington Station. Very good staff, and lovely hotel, would stay here again.
