Disliked: I barely write reviews, especially a negative one, but I want people to be aware of what happend to me during my stay in this hotel because they’re not Not trust worthy (100 £) Deposit is taken by the hotel and not returned with no reason, every time I contact them they say they’re going to send back a deposit its been 40 days until this moment, it’s not returned awful experience.Rooms are not clean i found a socks and dust behind the sofa.Also towels were dirty and used when I put it in floor to change it they just took the towels and leave the room without towels. No luggage employe to carry the bags with no ramp entrance keep in mind that they have stairs so you need to lift them to enter. There are no sound proof in the building, so you can hear every step from guests and employes in the room above it was disturbing and i couldn’t sleep.And when I checked out, they asked for tip so I refused because I had a bad experience even in room cleaning and then they took my deposit.My friend as well had the same experience in different room.

We would definitely consider staying...

Liked: It was a very inviting property. The staff were excellent. They were very informative and helpful for all our adventures in London. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: Rooms were a bit small, however had many amenities that made it better.

Hi we had a reservation...

Disliked: Hi we had a reservation with you guys last night and I just want to make a formal complaint of how unhappy we was with quiet a few things while staying with you guys, firstly on arrival checking in took us a very long time due to being given the wrong reservation which we nearly payed for but luckily I realised that the price of the booking was completely wrong by over £100 so I raised this concern and said to the man that was not the price we was given online and that’s not what we booked the price for, this went over and over for about an hour before finally he brought our reservation up, there was no apology for this or the delay in this I found the staff actually quiet rude, once all this was done we went to our room and we was no happy with the sizing of the room for the price we payed, anyway we accepted it and carried on with our night, at 3am in the morning a alarm started to go off in our room none stop so I called reception where they got a man to come to the room and unplug the machine which then left us with no air con all night a disturbed stay as the man was in there for about 15 minutes trying to fix the issue, once that was done we had absolutely no air con so we was absolutely sweating all evening after that! come morning time a man with a ladder and a lady opened our door without even knocking waking us up, they then realised we was in the room and shut the door my partner went to the door and asked what time we had to be out as we thought it was the clearners coming in to do the room all they said was ‘sorry’ and walked off no explanation of why they done what they had just done, for the price we payed we do not expect that many issues to happen in 1 night and we are very upset as we choose hotel Meliá over another hotel and we regret that now as we have been very let down by this hotel and we will defo not be returning again! A complaint will be made on booking.com and I am hoping you can refund us the amount we payed for our stay!

Serene, spacious, luxe and welcoming.

Liked: The staff were warm and welcoming. Up-market and worth every penny. I would definitely be returning to the Melia London. The location is perfect and close to many sites and activities. The room is spacious (every square meter makes the world of difference).
