Completely renovated in April 2017 the MEININGER Hotel Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is perfectly located in the heart of Leipzig. The nonsmoking hotel offers a 24-hour reception and free WiFi in all areas. Good hotel, worth the money

Liked: Really cosy rooms, clean and quiet. The neighborhood is nice, close to the central train station and old city center, with easy access to a lot of terraces, caffes and bars. Staff was nice and helpful throughout the whole stay.

A friendly hotel, very well...

Liked: The hotel is very well located, not far from the centre and, especially, if you visit the Gewandhaus or the Opera, you will appreciate how close it is. I enjoyed the approach of the hotel about every day cleaning of your room - you can say what you need or expect. I love the idea of a guest kitchen 24/7! The staff is professional, friendly and easy going, always helpful and also positive!

Liked: Bed was a little uncomfortable. Everything else was great. Location is perfect.

Had a lovely time in...

Liked: Location excellent. It was in centre of town and easily accessable
Disliked: Room cramped, unnecessary bunk bed in room when booked for 2 adults. Room also very hot. Noisy at night when windows partially opened to cool the room. Asked staff for temperature to be reduced but nothing changed.

Overpriced hotel

Liked: The facility was overpriced, with small and low-quality rooms. While the location was good, the overall experience did not justify the high cost, making it an unworthy expense for such limited space
