Liked: If your plan is to just hang around Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, the location is amazing. Also pretty close to Ostbahnhof, which makes it easy to go around.
Disliked: The dorm feels a bit claustrophobic at times, as the rooms have a double bed AND bunkbeds. If feels like it’s intended for families, and not strangers. My recommendation is checking if they have any other type of dorm rooms before booking. I stayed at another Meininger Berlin location before, and the dorm room had the normal bunkbed configuration. Much better. Breakfast is meh, for the price you have to pay. Pet peeve of mine, but they didn’t even have bacon, a staple for hotel breakfasts. 12€ by the way.
