Quaint and Qurky Stay in...

Liked: Large room with comfortable bed. Good shower and toiletries. Staying at the Inn is an enjoyable step back in time to the Victorian era. The staff are very friendly and helpful and once you are checked in, it’s easy to come and go as you please. Hot food is served at breakfast and the menu changes slightly each day. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Rideau transit station and 20 minute walk to Parliament Hill along one straight road.,The Byward Market is a 10 minute walk with lots of eating options. I enjoyed my stay here.

Disliked: There are a lot of homeless, drug addicted street people in the area and on the streets near the inn.

Liked: Great house with history idea for downtown and o train.
Disliked: Although nothing the hotel could do about it there appears to be a number of drug dependent individuals in the local area, and this was bit disquirting as we arrived on foot, but we soon realised they were there for local community centre and churches and we were not hassled at all.

Disliked: steep/long stairs to second floor, without any help for our luggage
