Highly enjoyable if staying on...

Liked: I loved the ambience, the home touch, very much a bed and breakfast feel. Everything was tastefully done with a personal touch.
Disliked: In room 15, room above was noisy till after midnight. Can hear people moving around above.

We had a very good...

Liked: The location is excellent for tourists in Ottawa. We stayed four nights. When I realized that I could make requests at breakfast, for a fruit bowl and for a glass of milk then I enjoyed my 3rd and 4 th breakfasts much more.
Disliked: The room was too hot initially but then we asked for the heat pump to be fixed and we were fine.

Great location but other guests...

Liked: Good location, walkable to Byward Market and Parliament and surrounds. Parking onsite for only $10. Very good included breakfast. Beautifully decorated with old fashioned collectables and antiques. No coffee facilities in room, you have to go downstairs but can access the coffee machine and jug for tea making in the dining area at any time.
Disliked: The lack of tea/coffee facilities in room. Noisy fellow guests talking and laughing loudly in one of the rooms with a verandah til well after midnight and we were directly above so little sleep our first night. There didn't seem to be a quiet time curfew unlike most guesthouses.

Liked: Amazing accommodation with very close distance to Ottawa downtown. Very nice atmosphere, you really feel like at home
