Liked: Location is good, in the middle of quiet neighborhood with lots of coffee shops, small restaurants and bars.Having a small hot tub in the room was very nice perk.Liked having a coffee machine and small fridge.Overall the place has potential, as the room was modern, bright and comfortable, the internet and service issues are a killer.
Disliked: Internet connection was not stable for more than a couple of minutes for the whole 2 weeks stayby not stable I don't mean "I couldn't stream HD games", I mean "unable to open my work email", "unable to have Teams audio call", "unable to use google maps", "unable to browse facebook" That is a deal breaker for me, as I was working remotely, and sometimes need to work early mornings or evening - I will not stay here again.I talked with other guests so I know this was a problem everywhere. Hotel handled this badly. First reception staff pretended to be surprised, then pretended they are fixing it, then pretended to not understand English and also ignored my messages sent through Booking.com. I also talked with the owner/manager and he also did nothing to fix it or offer any compensation. Luckily I found a co-working space nearby so worked from there my whole stay.They had a greedy guest policy. they require guests to register (which is common in CDMX) but when I wanted to have a friend over for drinks (the unit had a "living room" area) they charged me MXP 400 per person per visit.Cleaning was daily but not very through and I would still find hair in the bathtub.There was frequently noise at night from the nearby Reforma main street, that can be an issue for people sensitive to noise (was not a problem for me)
