Convenient location and good for...

Liked: - super convenient location - Room, bed and sheets all relatively clean and well organised (check in, location of room etc).- staff were friendly and welcoming.- room had a locker for belongings (but bring your own padlock!).
Disliked: - only one power socket in the far corner of the room, so if you needed to charge your phone it would have to be left on the ground by the socket.- no lift to rooms/luggage storage area. Meaning if you have heavy luggage you have to carry it on your own (I did see a luggage lift but I was not offered it so you may have to ask staff).- if you don’t like people vaping, probably not the place for you.- long term residents using up a large part of the room space (can’t really be controlled by the place but it would be nice to have more space to lay out suitcase)

Liked: Location is good, give u a towel for free.
Disliked: Not keen that you get your $20 key deposit back in cash. Staying in a private room for two people they make to take two keys ($40). Not enough toilets. Overall there are probably better hostels for the same price.

Convenient place, helpful and attentive...

Liked: Great staff except for the blond guy on our last day. Lovely big kitchen to cook, excellent facilities.
Disliked: The blond guy on our last day- very rude, demanded two of us both carried a key card (20 dollar deposit per card so why risk losing both?) even though we were just going out for 5 mins to shop - ‘you read and signed T&C etc’ which we didn’t read after 50h flight, completely jet lagged and tired. They should have included/ send us long wordy T&C before arrival if it was so important for all guests to carry their own room cards despite they already know how many guests are staying in which room. Pointless rule as any guest can bring in another person if they took out 2 cards- not that we would do such a thing but made no sense. I’d rather keep one of the cards in a safe place and share the card between 2 of us- after all we had our own private room. Bathroom could have been cleaner. They should fix broken shower and stop wasting water from dripping shower head.
