Disliked: The room was disappointing, not nearly as nice as the Pearce shown on Booking.com we expected. Especially disappointing given the great 2nd floor room we stayed in on our previous stay, the art above the fire place had been removed but the screws were still in place making it really obvious it was missing... my partner said it felt like the room they only let out if no others are available, perhaps it is as we did ask if there was another available, but no this was it.

Liked: The staff so friendly and accomodating, I just needed a coffee when I arrived and it was no issue at all to make me one. The lounge room was great for a drink with friends, room and breakfast amazing!

Liked: We loved it all - lovely staff, beautiful building, yum breakfast included (plus barista-style coffee!). The heated flooring in the bathroom was such a plus for winter

A beautiful lodge run by...

Liked: The property was beautifully maintained and we were given a brief run down of its history. The rooms were comfortable and the daily breakfast was amazing! Bo made our stay incredibly comfortable and is a credit to the lodge!
Disliked: The property is a little far out of town so you really need to have a rental car.
