The Spotlight on Mayflower Park Hotel

Historic Charm Meets Downtown Seattle Nightlife

Modern music fans will love the Mayflower Park Hotel – a beautifully preserved 1927 hotel in the heart of Seattle. Just a short walk from iconic spots like Pike Place Market and within easy reach of the city’s top concert venues, this hotel blends vintage charm with downtown convenience. With classic decor, free Wi-Fi, and a cozy lounge, it's a favorite for those looking to soak in the city while staying close to the action.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and Mayflower Park delivers. You're within walking distance of many performance venues and steps from the Seattle Monorail, making it a breeze to get to shows at the Space Needle or Seattle Center. Late check-out at 12:00 PM means you don’t have to rush the morning after. The hotel's traditional style also keeps things quiet and restful post-show—ideal for winding down.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central base with walkable nightlife
  • Solo travelers catching that dream show
  • Couples making a romantic weekend of it
  • Fans who want a peaceful retreat after the encore
  • Budget-conscious travelers who still want quality and location

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Andaluca Restaurant serves up Northwest fare with a Mediterranean twist—great for dinner before heading out. Oliver’s Lounge is a local favorite for martinis and light late-night bites. While there’s no room service advertised as 24/7, the central location means plenty of dining options within walking distance, including spots open late. The hotel also offers a relaxing breakfast to help you recover the morning after.

Nightlife Options

Start your night at Oliver’s Lounge with a craft cocktail, then venture out to nearby bars, speakeasies, and music clubs in Belltown or Capitol Hill. While the hotel doesn’t host live music itself, its location makes it easy to pre-game and post-show without needing a car.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s old-world charm, friendly staff, and unbeatable location. Many reviews highlight the comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms—great after hours on your feet. Travelers also appreciate the proximity to bars, restaurants, and public transport.

Areas for Improvement

This is a historic property, so don't expect ultra-modern design or tech-heavy rooms. Some guests note the decor feels a bit dated—but most agree it adds to the hotel’s charm. Parking is limited and can be pricey, so plan accordingly if you're driving.

The Bottom Line

Mayflower Park Hotel is perfect for concert-goers who want classic comfort, downtown convenience, and a quiet night’s sleep—all within reach of Seattle’s top music venues.

I am so glad we stayed at the Mayflower Hotel. We celebrated my husband 's 64th birthday and the staff was amazing! As well, Oliver's was a great place to have cocktails. This place is the best location; beautiful room. When in Seattle I would not even consider staying in another hotel. Thank you to all who made our stay complete!

The corner suite room we were upgraded to was outstanding. In-house restaurants were able to accommodate a vegan diet with delicious options. The Mayflower Park Hotel is centrally located and was an excellent location for our walking tour of Seattle.

Liked: The Mayflower made us feel like VIPs.

Good value stay in prime...

Liked: Good value hotel in an excellent location. 10 mins walk to Pike Place Market. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. We also liked the bar, good value food with friendly staff.
Disliked: The rooms were a little dark and dated, though clean and comfortable. There was little information given on check in. It would have been useful to be told : when and where breakfast was served (restaurant next door), that there was a door linking the hotel to the mall and monorail (upstairs in lobby), and that there is a shuttle provided to the cruise port for most cruise departures, this needs to be booked with concierge ($15 per person).

Pleasant stay overall but service...

Liked: Very nice and spacious room albeit a little dated; very nice bar; great location
Disliked: Reception staff were not very welcoming. Limited lifts and often full of staff with trollies meaning a long wait sometimes.
