We currently live in Vero...

Liked: We relaxed, saw friends and enjoyed seeing the area.
Disliked: The weather was not accommodating. It was chilly in the forties and fifties and quite humid. We stayed off the boardwalk and definitely stayed off the beach. Weather in late May can be quite unpredictable.

Can’t beat the location. If...

Liked: Friendly staff!Exceptionally clean older hotel. Our room was perfect for two adults w/ a side ocean view. Super clean, new bathroom, tasteful coastal decor, and newer flooring.
Disliked: Mattress should be replaced and window air conditioner was loud.

While this was a great...

Liked: The location to the ocean was amazing. Waking up and seeing and hearing the waves and the ocean was absolutely beautiful. The old almost historical feel of the property was very nice. The location is not in a very busy tourist area which was a very nice welcome and the other guests were very respectful and made for a very quiet and restful night of sleep.
Disliked: The property was kind of a let down. Parking was extremely hard to find. We had to drive around the block several times to find a parking spot because the location does not offer parking. The room was extremely hot because, although they knew we were coming, because I called within two hours of our arrival, the air conditioning was not turned on. The pool was not opened because it was not inspected for the year.

Friendly staff, beautiful historical building...

Liked: I loved the historical nature and location was prime. Literal steps away from the ocean . Clean, and the staff is super friendly and I loved the old school keys! They also have a stunning sitting room with a ton of absolute gorgeous plants that are over 40 years old some of them.
Disliked: I didn’t like the pool was closed and it wasn’t mentioned before arrival . I purposely booked for location and pool and was extremely disappointed and was a little upset they didn’t offer a discount or anything to amend this issue. Also there’s literally no amenities besides the pool and that wasn’t available , there’s no microwave in ur room or coffee it’s all in a common area which is fine I also wish the room had some sort of table by the door to put our things down there was no other counter space besides the night tables. It also smells a little like cigarettes even tho it’s a. No smoking facility.
